Thoughtful Organization Development with Org Topologies

A framework-agnostic visual approach to assess, design & sustain the path to adaptability for digital product development and beyond

In this session, two co-creators of Org Topologies™, Alexey Krivitsky and Roland Flemm, will share a method to design, assess and improve your organizational ecosystem. They will do that by familiarizing you with a set of organizational archetypes that are easy to spot. Hopefully, you will have much better clarity on which organization ecosystem you want to build and which behaviors you expect it to exhibit. This talk will be beneficial to the change leaders who are in the midst of an org change. The mapping technique that we will demonstrate will help to add a lot of clarity in the org change. And provide ideas on how to increase adaptivity in the organization. This is a talk on true deep org change, business agility and proven practices to create more adaptive organizations.

Lernziele

  1. We will explain the ideas of the 1st and 2nd waves of agile: team-focused and business-focused ones
  2. Present the audience with a mapping technique to assess existing org design with Org Topologies mapping.
  3. A vision towards creating higher-level org archetypes where a team of teams collaborates and works as one.
  4. Examples of studied companies: Poster POS Inc, PandaDoc and Y Soft that exhibit capabilities of higher-level org archetypes.

Speaker

 

Alexey Krivitsky
Alexey Krivitsky has been a developer, scrum master, conference producer, and speaker. He is a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST), Certified Enterprise Coach (CEC) and works as an organization agility coach. He has been using Scrum since 2005, he is probably the first Scrum Master of Ukraine. Since 2008, he has been actively appearing in the arena of the Agile community as a conference producer and speaker. Roland Flemm
Roland Flemm (PST) became a Scrum Master in 2009 closing his 20-year career as a developer and infrastructure specialist. Roland grew into international agile consulting with a focus on large scaled Scrum adoptions since 2015. He has been actively appearing in the Agile community as a conference speaker.
